Kate Maestri is an architectural glass specialist specialising in innovative glass design. The intricate details and quality of work left me inspired. she has worked with the likes of Foster & Partners and  architects Jestico + Whiles. Chanel Iman Allure 2012

As a model I always feel its important to keep updated on what  Supermodels are doing as modelling is an ongoing learning path. I came across Chanel Iman's 2012 Allure spread and was impressed. I've never known much about Chanel Iman, but i've always found her interesting. She has black oriential features so I was not surprised to find out she had some Korean heritage. Roberto Cavalli

I came across this article about Naomi Campbell stripping down in Cavalli's collection. It was hard not to be mesmerised by the supermodel Naomi Campbell, every time I look at her I'm in awe. she has an amazing walk, as well as having the versatility to take great pictures as well. I mean sure the pictures may have been airbrushed and retouched either way I still respect her greatness as a super model. Please have a look at these images and enjoy!

 Daphne
One to look out for Daphne, who was spotted whilst shopping with her mother, and did her first runway show in 2010, later on gracing the front cover of Vogue. ( Shall be keeping a close eye on her)

Kristen
I love the geometric shape Kristen poses in this image juxtaposed against her androgynous look.

Breakthrough of African Design

I'm glad to introduce a subject I love, i'm often attracted to bold african prints mostly because my roots are from Ghana. Most of the clothing I wear has an african twist in some way. So I was glad when I read an article about the Vogue Editor in Chief  Franca Sozzani travelled to Ghana and was not only impressed but inspired by what she she saw in Ghana. I also saw a side article in which Ghana is to host its first Fashion Design Week which I'm very much looking forward to, I shall be keeping a close eye on this event.

Burberry also seemed to have picked up on the trend that is the african print please enjoy !

Lee Broom

I was working in the office, researching suppliers of office furniture and I came across Lee Broom, and I could not help but be mesmorised by the indulgence, luxury and glamour of the products it was just to much for me not to blog about it. What I really enjoyed about Lee Broom's work, was the fact that all his collections reflected his design story.

Broom naturally started off at theatre school, in which he naturally progressed to study Fashion at Central St. Martins. To subsidise costs during university Broom and his fellow student Aoki gave decor advice to local bars across London. Broom later met legendary Vivenne Westwood and worked with her before Broom & Aoki founded their design agency in 2002 known as Makilee Design.

Aoki later left to pursue opportunities in Japan subsequently the Lee Broom brand was born.
I really aspire to be in Lee Brooms position in 20-30 years its the exzact career path I hope to follow, he is an inspiration.
