Cloche Lamp by Lars Beller Fjetland

Today we feature the Norwegian designer Lars Beller Fjetland, we came across the beautifully crafted Cloche lamp online. The Cloche lamp brings a sense of presence and elegance to any space. The lamp consists of a cast Iron base with a bent ash arm slotted into a copper or brass shade.

Boodi Blu

Today we have a look at the dainty jewellery from Boodi Blu. Beautiful delicate porcelain pieces crafted into bespoke jewllery. Recycling fragments of nostalgia to be loved and worn again. Pieces dating as far back from the 18th century if not earlier, be enchanted by the  handcrafted treasures.

Zaha Hadid

Everybody who's interested in Architecture & Design will know who the pioneer of Modern Architecture  Zaha Hadid. A recent documentary  showed a rare insight into the Architect's life, who usually shies away from media, and lets her work speak for herself. The documentary starts from her happy childhood in Iraq Bagdad, which was a developing nation slowly transforming into a utopia of mixed  buildings of traditional structures and skyscrapers. It also looks to more recent works and daily operations of the business. If  you have a spare hour I urge you to watch this documentary and feel INSPIRED!

Africa Fashion Week London 2013

It's only befitting to talk about Africa Fashion Week London which took The Old Truman Brewery by storm with an explosion of colours & prints. AFWL 2013 is in it's third season, and this year has received the most press coverage  and media attention, with the likes of BBC news and CNN News to name a few. It did not only host runway fashion show, but also had exhibitors showcasing their latest designs from all parts of Africa.
