You may have noticed at Akua Designs London, we have  a strong passion for pencil drawings. After all its where are foundations were laid. In recent times their has been an increase in artists having platforms such as Pintrest to share their work, and making it more accessible to the general public. 

Their something about the gritty rustic quality of a pencil portrait drawing that is incredibly enticing a skill that a small percentage of the world posses. 

So here we share with you some of our favourite findings and of course one from Akua Designs London.

MONTENEGRO Architects 

Is this not one of the most beautiful architecturally designed buildings you've seen in recent 21st century, if not please stop reading. We instantly became awestruck when we stumbled across this beauty whilst online surfing.

The key feature is the Portico which hangs seamlessly across the university gardens. The structure derives from the need to create a clean corporate image as well as incorporating an amphitheatre. The result is one of the largest concrete porticos in the world.  The project started in 2003 and was completed in 2013, the school is located in the polytechnic institute of Beja, Portugal.
